Breast reduction is a procedure that removes excess breast tissue, tightens the skin, reduces the nipple areola complex and raises it up to a more desired position.

Patients that suffer from upper back pain, shoulder grooving from bra straps, neck pain, and rashes underneath their breasts are good candidates for a breast reduction. Due to the improvement in physical health many patients experience, insurance companies will often cover a breast reduction surgery. Documentation of non-surgical treatments must be provided including physical therapy, chiropractic, and primary care provider notes.
