Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Breast lift, or mastopexy, is a procedure that tightens the skin of the breast and raises the nipple, giving the breast a more youthful appearance. Many factors contribute to a loss of volume or fullness in the breast and sagging of the nipple, including age, gravity, pregnancy, breastfeeding and weight gain or loss.

Breast lifts are also good for patients who are happy with the size of their breast but not the position or the shape of the breast. A breast lift can raise the position of the nipples and reduce the size of the darker area surrounding the nipples (areolae).
